Thank you to Candice Hernandez, manager of the Tift County Animal Shelter, for welcoming the agriculture students to volunteer for the day. The student did everything, from cleaning cages to making dog treats. The FFA held an animal shelter drive, and students donated supplies that the shelter requires to care for the numerous animals who pass through its doors. What better way to learn about small animal care and management in agricultural class than to work with and care for animals?
