The Environmental Natural Resource Team for FFA has to learn to identify mammals, reptiles, amphibians, birds, fish, trees, and invasive species found in the United States. They also have 30 minutes to run a GPS course and find hidden waypoints to demonstrate skills used in the natural resource and wildlife career fields.
We are pleased to inform you that students will return to school on Thursday, October 3rd, following the recent inclement weather days.

Our transportation team is working to develop new bus stops for our students who live off of dirt roads that have been washed out and are not passable. Please be patient with our transportation team as they work to navigate continued road closures.

With an incredible overall record of 17-1, our girls secured the top spot heading into the region tournament. Thank you to all our ESMS HOSA members who came out to participate in our first community service project. On 9/21/24, we helped prepare and pass out 1,775 bags to children and the elderly in need!
While schools remain closed for students today, we will once again offer an opportunity for meal bag pickup. Parents may bring students to any of our schools (except for Annie Belle Clark and Tift County High School) beginning at 9am, to pick up a meal bag that includes breakfast and lunch. Quantities will be limited, and they will be distributed on a first come, first served basis. #4theT
All Tift County Schools will remain closed for students on Wednesday, October 2nd. In order to help determine readiness for our students to return, all staff members are asked to report. We will provide families with an update by early afternoon tomorrow regarding Thursday, October 3rd.

Each bag will include a hot lunch and a shelf stable breakfast. Distribution sites will open at 9:00am and meals will be distributed on a first come, first served basis, while supplies last.
