On Tuesday afternoon, Mr. Winger had the opportunity to connect with the staff at Eighth Street Middle School during a special meet and greet. Mrs. Gore introduced him to the group, followed by Mr. Nelson, who outlined the transition plan for his new role.
Mr. Winger then shared a few remarks before taking time to speak individually with staff members, building relationships and preparing for a smooth transition.

This past weekend, all four Tift County show choirs competed at the Capital City Classic in Montgomery, AL, and the success was nothing short of incredible! While the results for our middle school choir, One Voice, weren’t what we’d hoped for, the hard work, dedication, and teamwork they showed is something to celebrate!
At the high school level, our Men's show choir, Tiftosterone, made a clean sweep, winning Best Vocals, Best Visual Performance and Best Show Design and 1st place overall in the Men's division. Our Women's show choir, Ladies' Choice, had an exceptional weekend taking home Best Visual Performance, Best Show Design and 1st place overall in the Women's division. And finally, our Mixed show choir, Eighth Street Singing Company, earned Best Vocals and 2nd place overall in their division. We are incredibly proud of each of these talented groups for their hard work and outstanding success this weekend! #4theT
