📣 Parliamentary Procedure in Action!📣
Our 7th & 8th Grade Basic Ag and Year-Long Ag students have been stepping up as leaders and learning how to run a meeting the FFA way! 🧠💬🌾
Over the past week, students have:
🔹 Mastered the FFA Opening Ceremonies
🔹 Learned how to properly make and handle motions
🔹 Explored privileged, subsidiary, and incidental motions
🔹 Engaged in real-time debates using official Parli-Pro rules
🔹 Wrapped it all up with a fun twist — crafting a Parli-Pro Snack Mix! 🥣 Each ingredient was debated and defended before being added (yes, snacks with structure!).
This unit wasn’t just about procedure; it was about building leadership, communication, teamwork, and respect for order. 💙💛
We’re proud of how these students have grown their confidence and found their voices! 👏

Dahlia McRae and Jessica Williams competed in the Georgia National Fair Floral Design Competition this year with the theme “Beachside Blossoms.” McRae placed 4th overall and Williams placed 10th overall in the Junior Division.
Students created a floral design of their choice based on the theme. Each design had to be a single, complete arrangement, just as it would be sold in a florist shop.
In addition, contestants:
Calculated the cost of the design, including any accessories, which had to be between $25 and $50 based on current wholesale prices.
Submitted an itemized cost sheet listing all materials used.
Completed their arrangement in a timed 30-minute event.
We are so proud of our talented students for showcasing their creativity, skill, and attention to detail! 🌟#ctaedelivers!

We’re proud to announce that two of our ESMS FFA members earned Grand Champion honors for their Georgia National Fair exhibits!
