We are so proud of our team for placing 7th in the Area V Agricultural Technology and Equipment Career Development Event during Fall Break! Team members are Jonah Clements, Charlie Fletcher, Will McClendon and Eli Ross.
The ATE CDE is a hands-on team competition with four components:
🔹 Rotational Skill Practicum – Electricity, Woodworking, or use of an Automatic Level
🔹 Measuring Practicum
🔹 Tool, Equipment, and Part Identification
🔹 Multiple-Choice Written Exam
Each team member completes all four sections to demonstrate their knowledge and skills in agricultural mechanics.
This event gives students in grades 6–9 the opportunity to apply what they’ve learned in the classroom, gain valuable experience in ag mechanics, and explore future careers in agricultural technology.

The Junior Floral Design CDE encourages students to explore their creativity while learning about the design and marketing of floral arrangements. It also helps build interest in agricultural education and FFA career pathways related to horticulture and floral design.

Our 7th & 8th Grade Basic Ag and Year-Long Ag students have been stepping up as leaders and learning how to run a meeting the FFA way! 🧠💬🌾
Over the past week, students have:
🔹 Mastered the FFA Opening Ceremonies
🔹 Learned how to properly make and handle motions
🔹 Explored privileged, subsidiary, and incidental motions
🔹 Engaged in real-time debates using official Parli-Pro rules
🔹 Wrapped it all up with a fun twist — crafting a Parli-Pro Snack Mix! 🥣 Each ingredient was debated and defended before being added (yes, snacks with structure!).
This unit wasn’t just about procedure; it was about building leadership, communication, teamwork, and respect for order. 💙💛
We’re proud of how these students have grown their confidence and found their voices! 👏
