💙 National School Counselor Week 💙
Eighth Street Middle School is so thankful for our three amazing counselors. Mrs. Kozma, Mrs. Parker, and Mrs. Bassett support our students each day with care, compassion, and dedication. Their work goes far beyond the counseling office as they guide students through challenges, celebrate successes, and partner with teachers to support the whole child.
We are grateful for the positive impact they make on our Blue Devil family every single day. 💙

Tift County Middle School HOSA students recently had an incredible opportunity to attend CTSO Day at the Georgia State Capitol, where students got a first-hand look at the lawmaking process and saw our state government in action.
Students scheduled a visit with Representative Jaclyn Ford and even received a surprise “hello” from Governor Brian Kemp, making the day an unforgettable experience!
Experiences like this help connect classroom learning to real-world leadership and civic engagement. We’re proud of our future healthcare leaders for representing Tift County so well!

With below-freezing temperatures expected over the next few days, we want to remind parents and guardians to please send students to school dressed warmly each day.
✅ Bundle up with layers:
• Heavy coat
• Hat
• Gloves
• Warm socks
• Extra layers as needed
🚌 Bus Riders:
If possible, students should wait inside until 5 minutes prior to the scheduled pickup time to limit time in the cold. Being dressed appropriately is especially important in case of unexpected delays.
