“The ESMS Social Studies Department would like to recognize and congratulate the following 7th and 8th grade students for winning their class wide Geography Bee. Andon Rhodes, Kayden Washington, Chance Willis, Da'Vion Eubanks, Gabriel Keen, and Danielle Griffin. Andon, Kayden, Danielle, and Gabriel moved on to compete in the Tifton/Tift County Geography Decathlon. Gabriel and Kayden made it into the final 12 and competed in the Quiz Bowl rounds where they went up against students from Tiftarea academy, Providence School, and Tift County High School.” We want to thank Dr. Bret Wagenhorst, The Tift County Foundation for Educational Excellence, and all others involved for putting on such a well organized, fun, and educational night promoting geography and knowledge of how vast yet connected our world truly is!
