This isn’t just any meet—it’s the largest cross country event we’ve ever hosted, with over 1,200 runners and 50 schools from across Georgia and Florida. It’s going to be an exciting morning of competition, and our athletes would love to see familiar faces cheering them on as they race!
Please help spread the word — we would love to have a huge crowd there to support our student athletes.
We can’t wait to see you there and show everyone what Tift County pride looks like!

🍕🔥 Pizza Takeover! 🔥🍕
Tomorrow, our middle and high school cafeterias are serving up two student tested and approved favorites:

🐷 BBQ Blitz – pulled pork perfection with a smoky flavor and a winning bite!
These pizzas were chosen and named by Tift County students and will be available Thursday, September 25th.

Aaron Hawsey, Will McClendon, Charles Sheppard, and JR Wise placed 4th in the Area V ENR CDE and represented us so well! 💙 They showed off their skills by identifying trees, mammals, fish, reptiles, and birds, navigating a GPS course, and even writing scientific names of trees at their marked spots. 🌳🦌🐟🐍🦅 Way to go guys! We're so proud of you all! CTAEDelivers!

We’re proud of our FFA Meats Evaluation Team! 🥩🔪
Cailan Alley, Kowen Hagin, Luke Holland, Luke Schmeisser, and Greyson Chung competed at the Area V Meats Evaluation CDE at Colquitt County High School and placed 3rd in the region! 👏
Special shoutout to Luke Holland and Luke Schmeisser for finishing in the Top 7 Individuals! 🌟
At the contest, students identified 30 retail cuts of beef, pork, and lamb; naming the primal cut, retail cut, and best cooking method for each. They also ranked retail and carcass cuts to show off their evaluation skills.
Awesome job representing our chapter and proving your hard work pays off! 💙💛

🩺⚖️ From the courtroom to the clinic! Our Eighth Street Middle School Healthcare students traveled to Atlanta to take part in the Mock Trial of Curlie Pig vs. B.B. Wolf. Just like healthcare professionals use evidence and critical thinking to diagnose and treat patients, our students used those same skills to analyze testimony, build arguments, and present their case. What an incredible way to practice communication, teamwork, and problem-solving; the same skills that will serve them in their future healthcare careers! #CTAEDelivers
