Tuesday’s event began with a 30 question written exam. Following the exam, Raghav, Belicia, Max, Natalie, and Graison advanced to the top 12 and moved on to the Bee round, where they competed in groups of four against high school students from TA Academy and TCHS. Each of these students did great in the Bee and won an atlas for placing in the top twelve.
Raghav continued to excel and made it into the final top 3, competing against two juniors from Tift Area Academy. It was a close round, but he worked hard and ultimately secured first place in the entire competition. He brought home the grand prize of $750 in scholarship money from the Tift County Foundation of Educational Excellence!
Be sure to congratulate these students as you see them today. We are proud of all our competitors and their outstanding achievements.
A special thank you to Dr. Bret Wagenhorst and the TCFEE for another great night of Geography fun!

All Tift County Schools and offices will be closed November 24th–28th for Thanksgiving Break.
We hope everyone enjoys this time to relax, recharge, and spend time with family and friends. Let’s take a moment to reflect on all that we’re thankful for—our students, staff, families, and community that make Tift County truly special.
Have a safe and happy Thanksgiving! 🦃
