We are so proud of kindergartener Chasent Thomas! He was honored as the Georgia Young Author Writing Fair district winner at the Tift County Board of Education meeting. Way to go, Chasent! 💙✍😊 #wearejtr #4theT

Mrs. Coley’s 1st-grade students had the pleasure of surprising Mrs. Keeter’s 4th-grade class with a GMAS motivational gift! Students helped write an encouraging letter urging them to do their best on GMAS next week. Next, they made gift bags filled with a nice note, encouraging bracelets, and a Fruit Roll-Up treat because they are “on a roll” to pass GMAS! Everyone was excited! #4theT #wearejtr

Peep! It's incubation day at JTR, and Mrs. Payne's second-grade class is excited to see the life cycle of a chicken in action. Stay tuned for baby chicks in about 21 days! 💙🐣🐤 #wearejtr #4theT

Mrs. Carter's class enjoyed learning about and viewing the solar eclipse! 💙🌞🌝 #wearejtr #4theT

Ms. Wilson's class had a special day learning about a special event! Students enjoyed safely looking at the eclipse and even enjoyed a sweet treat thanks to a sweet parent! 💙😎🌝🌞 #wearejtr #4theT

Students in Mrs. Coley's class celebrated the Total Eclipse by going outside to safely see the sun with their glasses. Then students participated in recreating how the earth, the moon, and the sun will align later. We finished the day with some appropriate eats, only fitting for a Total Eclipse! #4theT

Positive Office Referrals! 💙😎 #wearejtr #4theT

Yesterday, we had the opportunity to celebrate our AWESOME librarian! Mrs. Hamill, thank you for making our school library the best. She always creates an environment where students can learn every day of the year. We appreciate you, Mrs. Hamill! Thank you for all you do for us at JTR!

Happy Paraprofessional Appreciation Day! 💙 #wearejtr #4theT

✍️The teachers, administrators, and staff at JTR have been encouraging students all year to perform their best on the Georgia Milestones Assessments in April. We also want students to know that their family members are encouraging them! Please take a few minutes to write a letter of encouragement to your student. These letters will be printed and distributed to students as they embark upon the testing session. As always, we cannot do what we do here at JTR without the support of families at home. #wearejtr #4theT
