
Tift County Schools will hold a virtual district-wide parent engagement meeting on Wednesday, May 3rd at 4:30pm. The purpose of the meeting is to gather input for the development of the 23-24 District Parent Engagement Plan. This morning second grade students from all elementary schools were treated to a sneak peak of the upcoming performance of MAMMA MIA! by the TCHS Blue Devil Players.

From April 2023 through September 2023, children can participate in Capstone’s Virtual Summer Camp Adventure through the bi-weekly choice boards. The choice boards are filled with activities around reading, learning, creating, coding, science, moving, technology and more. There is something for everyone and every age. The awesome thing about a choice board is every child can choose their very own summer camp adventure.
Capstone’s Virtual Summer Camp Adventure consists of the following:

Attention Parents of Rising Pre-K Students:

The 3rd Tuesday of each month at the Leroy Rogers Center the City of Tifton hosts Tifton's Financial Literacy Initiative. The next class is Tuesday, April 18th from 5:30pm - 7:00pm. and the topic is Building Savings. Classes are FREE and Childcare is provided. #4theT


DON'T FORGET! Free athletic physicals will be given at Georgia Sports Medicine, Southwell Orthopedics at 2227 Hwy 41 N. on Saturday, April 22nd, from 8:30am-12:30pm. This will be for students currently in grade 5-11 that are interested in playing middle school or high sports next year. The schedule will be: 8:30am-9:45am Football, Softball, Cross Country, Volleyball, Esports 9:45am-11:00am Cheer, Basketball, Wrestling, Swim, Gymnastics, Bass Fishing, Tiftarea 11:00am-12:30pm Baseball, Tennis, Golf, Track, Soccer, Riflery. It has been decided that for next school year uniforms will not be required at our PreK - 5 schools. We are working on a comprehensive dress code that will be included in the code of conduct. #4theT


Friday, April 7th, is True Blue Day! Students with no office referrals for the month of March may participate by dressing down and bringing money to purchase snacks.
Snack prices will range from $1-$2.


Out of an abundance of caution, Charles Spencer Elementary was placed on a soft lockdown this afternoon due to a potential situation in the neighborhood around the school. System security personnel worked with local law enforcement to determine that there was no threat to the safety and security of the students or staff. The school has resumed normal operations. #4theT

Rainy Day Car Dismissal: We will have one lane car dismissal this afternoon, April 3, 2023. Car rider dismissal will be one lane this afternoon. The safety and security of staff and students is of the utmost importance.


Congratulations to Om Patel who tested for and received his White Belt, Yellow Belt and Orange belt today in Recorder Karate! Om the first student at CSE to earn all 3 belts in music class.
